This is NOT an overlay, it is a complete restoration of all the metal surfaces.. i.e. the case.

YOUR DRUM MACHINE’S METAL HAS AN OLD TEXTURED/LAYERED FINISH. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO MATCH THE PATTERN OR TEXTURE IN RESTORATION. WE CAN OFFER ALTERNATIVE TEXTURED FINISHED AS USED ON MODERN SEQUENTIAL / OBERHEIM PRODUCTS. WE ARE BEHIND THE SCENES ALWAYS TRYING TO GET THIS TEXTURE AND HAVE COME FAIRLY CLOSE BUT, AS YET, IT’S TOO HIT AND MISS TO OFFER.

Note: Many DX’s have some surface rust by now, so, it is better to acid bath and treat before moving forward with the restoration. Please add option for rust treatment if required.

This does not include any electrical repair, but is front to back, top and base restored.

We arrange for the collection of your panel ( ONLY ) - worldwide to ship to us - This’ Insured Shipping ‘ is invoiced separate as can’t be quoted upfront.

When sending your synth case to us from outside the UK it is important to declare the export as ‘for repair’ and return. In most cases, depending on your countries customs / laws, you will not need to pay taxes / duties when we ship back to you. We will endeavour to do this for you but may need your assistance.

Please also allow for insurance, yes it’s the case in isolation but being sensible to cover, £5,000 typically costs around £70 at present.

1. We get shipping quotes and relay to you. If you prefer to do this yourself that is no problem.

2. We replicate all artwork and text with same accuracy as our other products ( This we have in prototype stage ready ).

3. We fully strip your old panel and refinish / paint, then silk screen new artwork as it was originally.

4. We ship back to you the fully restored case work. We pay for this one within the price up to £30, any higher will be invoiced separately to you.

5. You rebuild your Drum Machine back to look as good as new again.

This service is available for Studio Outboard and Channel strips etc in a separate shop and are pre-priced there as sizes are pretty standardised.
